CASE STUDY
A mobile application exclusively for the medical fraternity, WhiteCoats provides a digital engagement & collaboration platform for doctors and medical communities.
Dotweb was commissioned to do a usability test for the application and suggest enhancements for making it more efficient and easy to use. Due to the nature of target user’s busy time schedule, some tests had to be set up at the doctor’s office. The challenge was to make sure, even in an event of disruption, there is a minimal impact on test results.
Kicking off with stakeholder workshop to understand the product and requirements, we quickly move to heuristic evaluation to give them the first level of enhancements. Evaluating from different perspectives dealing with visual, cognition, intellectual, motor abilities and other heuristics, quick enhancements were suggested before going into usability testing.

To study user behaviour, identify usability issues and influences in context of use for all primary scenarios, we set out to do the usability testing with doctors of different specialisations based on personas.
